Specific terms and conditions of use for the National Offices Centre

  1. The National Offices Centre is an extranet website accessible to
    registered staff members of national patent offices. It provides
    technical and management information related to
    EPO products,
    services
    and tools.
     
  2. Each new user is allocated his/her own user profile on registration
    with the National Offices
    Centre.
     

    This profile is defined by the EPO in accordance with the user's
    responsibilities in his/her office, his/her specific interest in the
    EPO
    products and services and the recommendations of his/her line
    manager. It may include the right to access restricted information.

    The information made available via the National Offices Centre is
    for official use only.


    Users must not share their individual password with other people.

  3. The EPO will store all registration and profile information and use
    it to
    optimise the National Offices Centre services. However, all data
    will be treated as confidential, processed only by the
    EPO and
    subjected to statistical analysis only, with all personal information
    being strictly
    anonymised.
